CrossFit is an effective way to get fit. Anyone can do it.
It is a fitness program that combines a wide variety of functional movements into a timed or scored workout.
We do pull-ups, squats, push-ups, weightlifting, gymnastics, running, rowing, and a host of other movements.

CrossFit

A mixture of resistance training and short high-intensity workouts, CrossFit is the ideal class to improve fitness, strength and overall health.

In this class our coaches will take you through a dynamic warm-up which will also include plenty of flexibility and mobility training. We then focus on a skill and strength element which can include resistance training, basic gymnastics, body weight or weightlifting in all of which form and correct technique is emphasised emphatically.

We end every session with a higher intensity WOD (workout of the day) which encompasses all the elements you have worked on previously in the session.

It may sound like a lot to fill into one session, but please rest assured our coaches will make sure each exercise and workout is scaled to you as an individual. One of the advantages of having smaller class sizes is that every attendee receives plenty of coaching.

All of the above with a supportive group of members means it’s ideal for anyone looking to get themselves into shape and better health.

Strength Training

Strength Training is also a resistance training exercise class. Strength and resistance training is essential for improving bone, joint and muscle strength, stability and health, as well as all the other health benefits exercise can give us.

With more individual exercises per session all attendees will definitely be given a great workout. Our coaches will take our members through a number of exercises which will all work on strength, stability, posture, mobility and flexibility.

Though not to be mistaken as any easier than our CrossFit sessions it should be seen as an ideal complementary class and a fundamental class to anyone wanting to get themselves in to great shape.

Improving conditioning and fitness is also incredibly important when undertaking exercise and our S&C classes offer this via short-sharp bursts of CV interval training.
